The Museum Apprentice Program (MAP) at The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis

Each week we select one video as a Candi Nominee out of all videos produced by our Candidio Producers. This week’s video is by The Indianapolis Children’s Musuem. In the video, we learn about how the teens in the Museum Apprentice Program (MAP) got to explore a real archaeological site.

We asked The Children’s Museum a few questions about producing this video. Here’s what they had to say.

Q) What was the purpose of this video?

A) We wanted our audience to learn about the cool projects that teens in the Museum Apprentice Program get to do, because we always want new, talented young people to enroll in the program.

Q) What was your favorite part about producing this video?

A) My favorite part of producing this video was getting to see first-hand some of the great archaeological finds that the students were uncovering at the dig site.

Q) What did you learn from producing this video that could help other Candidio Producers?

A) At the end of the day I had the kids give me short statements about things they found. It was very informal and by that time they were relaxed and having fun, so it made for better video.
