First off, my name is Zach Downs. Rocky Walls and I own Twelve Stars Media Productions (click our about page to learn more if you’d like). Now, to explain what Media for Hire is:
Media for Hire in a nutshell: a reality series about the type of people who would make a reality series.
To be more specific, Media for Hire is a web reality show produced by Rocky and me that is about Rocky and me, and all the crazy things we do — as well as all the serious things we do… like actual work.
The first season has already been released and the next season will begin July 15th, 2010, with a new episode every Thursday. You can view the entire first season here, which is 6 episodes long. Every Media for Hire episode will be released online only (not on tv)… At least, that’s all we plan on doing.
Season 1
Season 1 was a great learning experience for Rocky and me. For example, we learned how hard it was to make a reality series! We started off filming things around the office, hoping the goofy stuff that happens would be enough to make an entertaining episode. It didn’t take too long for us to realize we needed a basic ‘story’ for every episode, so it wouldn’t be too random. Since every episode is supposed to be about one full week of us at work, we decided that at the begining of the episode (Monday) we would explain we would be doing that week, then eventually include us doing the work we talked about on Monday, with all the goofy stuff included inbetween.
Season 2
There is a lot of great stuff in season 1 – HOWEVER, season 2 will be much more exciting, surprising, energetic, and funny… Or at least one or two of those adjectives.
You can view the latest and all future episodes on Media for Hire’s YouTube Channel. Look forward to season 2 on July 15th!
